It was in law school, where he worked as both an intern for the Presiding Judge of the Cook County Criminal Courts and a law clerk at a well-known Petitioners’ Workers’ Compensation firm, that Monte Beaty first learned the skills which have made him a well-respected and sought-after Workers’ Compensation attorney.
After passing the Illinois Bar, Monte was awarded the 2014 Illinois College of Law Gulley Fellowship which placed him at a non-profit practicing criminal defense in Chicago’s notorious felony courts. He then briefly worked in complex commercial litigation before returning to the world of Workers’ Compensation as an associate at a Petitioners’ firm. In this position, Monte handled every step of Workers’ Compensation litigation, from client intakes to case development to arbitration hearings and appeals.
By combining his experience as a Petitioners’ attorney with the general litigation practices he developed in Chicago’s felony courts, Monte is able to secure successful results for clients in even the most difficult and complex Workers’ Compensation cases.
