David VanOverloop is a respected defense attorney with an impressive record of success. He practices extensively before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and handles a volume of appeals at the Cook County Circuit Court and the Illinois Appellate Court. David began his legal career as an intern with the Illinois Attorney General Workers’ Compensation Bureau. Following his internship, David joined a prominent Petitioners Workers’ Compensation firm and was responsible for handling a large volume of cases through all aspects of litigation. His experience as a Petitioners’ attorney provides him with a unique perspective of the strategies and tactics employed by Petitioners’ attorneys, and the accompanying insight of the most effective ways to combat those tactics.

David lectures regularly on Illinois Workers’ Compensation issues, and is a favored guest instructor for Workers’ Compensation courses at various Chicagoland law schools.
